I used the bottles of ink you would use for a fountain pen. I mixed the primary colors to get all the different hues used here.

probably one of my first oil paintings. Its all done in black and white paint.

A little bit about Myself

First off my name is Aryona. I go by Ona though, I have for as long as I can remember. Its a nickname that has almost literally become my name... I hardly ever get called or referred to as Aryona. 

To tell you a little bit of my background and where I came from I was born in a hospital on the outskirts of Apple Valley, a decent sized town located in the Southern region of California, where my family and I lived closely around, even when moving houses. It was pretty much just my Mom, my Dad, my Sister Kendra, and I. later on we adopted two small dogs into the family. We lived there around 10 years after I was born, then decided to move. Just after I was adopted by my biological dads (who i call daddy to avoid confusion) his mom and step-dad, who I've lived with most my entire life and refer to as my mom and dad. We ended up moving to Utah and have been living here for about 8 years now. 

As for myself I've always loved art in general ever sense I was a kid I enjoyed observing the creations of the amazing artists, sculptures and painters. In fact, that's why I'm creating this blog. It's for a fine arts class I'm taking this year. My senior year of High School and my love for the visual arts is still seeming to grow and expand. My blog is serving as an online Portfolio for the class, though I'll likely keep updating it even after I finish this class. I've been creating my own art for years now probably for as long as i knew how to hold a pencil or pen. I've experimented with many different mediums I've used all kinds of paint though my favorite is probably water soluble oil paints I love them to death along with watercolor but i have have to be in the watercolor kinda mood you know? I'm still not sure how I feel about oil pastels though I do enjoy using chalk pastels form time to time and i like using tools you usually wouldn't think of to help me with my art drawings or paintings. As for this class I'm not sure what to expect but I'm pretty excited to get started!
